Teamwear Policy

To promote a team atmosphere within the club, athletes must look unified on the deck both at workouts and at meets.

Workouts - Water

Suit – Must be suitable for competitive training. No baggy suits or swim trunks may be worn.
Cap – Must bear the LSC logo (old logos acceptable).
Bag – Must bear the LSC logo (old logos acceptable).

Workouts – Dryland

Upper body – Shirts must bear the LSC logo. Any apparel worn over the shirt must also bear the LSC logo (old logos acceptable).
Lower body – Shorts, leggings, sweat pants, or track pants are acceptable. No pajama pants or jeans may be worn.
Footwear – If worn, must be runners/trainers.

Meets

Suit – Any swimsuit brand is acceptable. No baggy suits or swim trunks may be worn.
Cap – Must bear the current LSC logo.
Bag – Must bear the LSC logo (old logos acceptable).
Upper body – Must bear the current LSC logo. Any apparel worn over the t-shirt must also bear the current LSC logo.
Lower body - Shorts, leggings, sweat pants, or track pants are acceptable. No pajama pants or jeans may be worn.

Team Travel

When travelling with the team to camps or meets, athletes must wear apparel bearing the current LSC logo on the upper body.

Podium Jackets

LSC awards podium jackets to swimmers who achieve Provincial standards (Festival or OYJ standards and above). Please note that in order to receive a jacket, a swimmer must qualify for the age category they will be in at the next Provincial level competition (age as of the first day of the meet).

Enforcement

A swimmer not in compliance with the teamwear policy will receive a warning, and may be removed from the workout or the session of a meet on repeat occurrences.
