We are happy to announce the return of our season kickoff and new parent orientation event! On Thursday, September 8th, we will host an orientation presentation to new parents, followed by a season kickoff presentation by Tristan, parent meetings with their swimmers’ coaches, and then a parent social afterward. New parents (including families that joined the club during the 2021/2022 season) should plan to arrive between 6:00pm and 6:30pm, and returning parents should plan to arrive between 7:00pm and 7:30pm. Head Coach Tristan will address the club at 7:30, and at approximately 8pm group coaches will meet briefly with the parents of swimmers in their groups to outline expectations and review meet schedules. Immediately afterward we’ll enjoy a parent social event with information tables covering various club details, including officiating, carpooling, volunteering, and meet-the-coach. The event will wrap up at 10:00pm. We can’t wait to see you there!
Note that this is a parent-only event. Complimentary coffee and tea and a cash bar will be available, and light snacks will be provided.
Location: second floor lounge at High Park Curling Club, 100 Indian Road, Toronto M6R 2V4. There are parking lots on both the north and south sides of the building.
